Produced with the cooperation of the band, this documentary delves into that 40 year history, from their origins as an R&B band in Birmingham and their transition into one of the groups that defined the psychedelic era and started the “art rock” boom that paved the way for Yes, King Crimson, and Genesis. Charter members Justin Hayward, John Lodge, and Graeme Edge were interviewed along the group's 2006 tour, and, with ex-members Mike Pinder and Denny Laine, tell of their odyssey and the evolution of their music, while newer members Norda Mullen and Bernie Barlow give a 2006 perspective on these veteran cosmic rockers.
