The Classic Artists Series is the definitive rock music series which chronicles the trailblazers of rock & roll, as told by the legends themselves and lavishly supported with the original music and live performance footage that changed the face of music forever - beginning in the sixties with the incomparable band Cream and followed by The Moody Blues, Jimi Hendrix, Yes and Jethro Tull completing Series One.

This fully authorised series is made in conjunction with the artists and innovators themselves and those closest to them, telling the real stories behind the famous (and infamous) lyrics and melodies that remain at the heart of rock music lovers to this day.

The four-part series of five episodes each focuses on those artists specially chosen for their particular contribution to rock music, for their specific style and for the effect that their music had, not only upon the many acts that followed over the years since but also upon their listening public.

Never before have artists of such international acclaim come together to contribute so candidly about their motivation, their trials and tribulations, and their attitudes towards the sweeping movement that spawned what we now recognise as classic rock.
